Turning Consumer Insight into Experience Innovation
The Consumer Insight & Experience Innovation department develops insight into LEGO consumers’ behavior and mindset, builds consumer value propositions for new business development through consumer co-creation, and handles experience innovation and design. The team is situated across UK, US and Denmark, and you have the option of being in Billund, Denmark or Slough, UK and your assignments will also involve travel to other LEGO locations and markets.
Ensuring that the consumer is at the heart of new products
Your main responsibility is to develop in-depth understanding of consumers’ needs, experiences and expectations. This is used to define new consumer value propositions and business opportunities for products, services and experiences. You orchestrate consumer co-creation sessions, ethnographic studies and consumer research. You partner and co-operate with marketers, developers and business owners, and you inspire and challenge them in order to constantly guarantee consumer focus in the innovation processes.
Further, you drive the Experience Champions Network – a global network of LEGO employees who are working with developing the consumer experience. You train members in the latest experience design tools, processes and co-creation to build up knowledge and skills within the company. The purpose is to continuously develop the consumer experience at all LEGO touch-points. apply
