Sorry about the short notice on this:
On Monday 24th September prof Sanjay Jain from MIT Pune in India will be visiting the studio. He is here to talk about setting up some formal links with our college and we’d like him to have the opportunity to talk to some Master of Design for Services students.
So those of you who can (I don’t expect people to travel from Aberdeen especially for this) could you do your reading/research in our studio between 9.30 and 10.30?
It’ll be a good way to start your routine of getting up early. Feel free to go for a jog before hand.
Great feedback from those of you I had a chance to chat to today about this week. I know it’s been super intensive, so well done everyone for staying the course….
Have a good weekend – it’s Dundee Open Doors Weekend – a chance to go and see inside buildings that either aren’t normally open to the public or that you’d have to pay to get into – I’d recommend:
The Maggie Centre – Frank Gehry designed cancer care centre – the Dundee centre was the first in the world.

The Wellcome Trust – the big blue and white building behind DJCAD where they undertake world leading life sciences research
Scotland’s Jute Museum, Verdant Works – a great insight into the socio-industrial history of Dundee
