We are looking forward to sharing several videos from our Strategic Information Design soon. Teams from our masters programmes in Design for Services, Design Ethnography and Product Design worked with two clients: Nile a user experience and service design company and WithScotland an organisation for people involved in child protection, to understand and communicate their key messages.
The project ran for four weeks with masterclasses from Philip Joe, UX at Microsoft Consulting, visualiser Christine Kingsley, digital engagement specialist Abhay Adhikari and a transatlantic introduction to information hierarchies from Professor Terry Irwin, Head of the Design School at Carnegie Mellon. Nile and WithScotland gave the teams constructive feedback throughout the project, resulting in an impressive standard of communication materials for use use on and offline. Two teams of students will be joining the clients for placements in the next few months.
