This is number seven of our Masters Mixers – fast, concise and informative talks. Hear about our Master of Design for Services programme and talk informally to students and staff about what you can learn in 12 months with us.
If you are thinking about applying to study with us in September 2013, we highly recommend applying soon as we have only a small number of places remaining.
“I’ve learnt to design WITH people, rather than FOR people”
Students and staff will share stories of past and current live project work and their experience of being part of a group of global students working on challenging and inspiring projects. Talks will include current students Selina Law (Northern Ireland) discussing helping Criminal Justice Social workers design new ways of communicating with young offenders and Nelly Trakidou (Greece), Sophia Zhang (China) and Laura Malan (South Africa) discussing their recent placement with Nile. Course Leader, Hazel White (Scotland) and Design Research module leader, Professor Mike Press (England) will also contribute.
Meet us at the new reception of the Matthew Building at 2pm, or if you know your way – come straight to the studio. There will be tea and coffee.
Applications for the 12 month programme are welcome from curious, talented people with experience in design, business, education, healthcare or other relevant backgrounds.
