Hospitals are closely related to our lives since almost everyone has been to hospital before as a patient or visitor. However, if patients have to stay in an enclosed space with minimal human contact, they will feel anxiety and depression. The bad mood will directly affect the patients’ wellbeing. Dan’s project explores ‘How to improve the quality of life for long-term patients’. Although there are various support services being developed for improving the wellbeing of patients, most patients are unaware of these services. This is because of hospital restrictions related to infection control. Most information is set in the lobby but bed-bound patients are unable to access the information of those services directly, easily and comprehensively.
