PLACEMENT


Students have undertaken research for Deutsche Telekom’s T-labs, Berlin, worked with the Institute of Medical Science and Technology and with the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification, developing forensic ID systems for police use.

STRATEGIC INFORMATION DESIGN


Strategic Information Design is a 20 credit module led by Hazel White and Jonathan Baldwin and taken by students from the MSc Design Ethnography and the Master of Design programmes. The  changing information design landscape, requires that designers have insights into the use and application of both traditional visualisation and communication techniques and insights into new and social media. An ability to gather, analyse and present information strategically is a key skill for students from a range of disciplines. TEACHING

Students may take a learning and teaching Module run by the School of Education, Social Work and Community Education whilst undertaking teaching practice in the school of Design.
